Serbian telecom expenditure is on the rise. It is expected to reach €2.1 billion by 2026. In 2021 it stood at €1.83 billion, with an average year-on-year growth rate of 2.4%. Since 2000, the demand has grown at an annual rate of 7.2%. Serbia came in 22nd in the 2021 rankings, with Hungary ahead at €1.83 billion. France, the UK and Italy followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
