Irish expenditure on home goods is expected to reach €4.3 billion by 2026. This is up 0.6% a year since 2021, when it stood at €4.1 billion. Since 2000, Irish demand for home goods has grown at an average rate of 1.9% a year. In 2021, the country ranked 18th in the world, overtaken by the Czech Republic with €4.1 billion. The UK, Italy and France were the second, third and fourth biggest spending nations.
