European water utility revenue is set to reach €69 billion by 2026. In 2021, it was €68.4 billion, with a 0.2% year-on-year average growth rate. This is a decrease from 2016, when the European market was down by 0.4% year-on-year. The United Kingdom leads the way in water utility revenue, with €13.8 billion in 2021. Germany, Spain and Italy follow, in that order. Sweden saw an impressive year-on-year rise of 6%, while France experienced a 22.1% year-on-year drop since 2016.
