China led the way in 2021 with exports of $725 billion, followed by South Korea, the United States and Germany. The Central African Republic saw a 76.2% year-on-year increase, while Gambia dropped by 49.2% since 2017. Global electrical equipment import is estimated to reach $2.9 trillion by 2026, a 1.3% annual average increase from $2.7 trillion in 2021. This is a 4.8% growth from 2017. China was the leader in 2021 with imports of $563 billion, followed by the United States, Germany and Singapore. Malawi saw a 20.3% year-on-year rise, while Uruguay decreased by 7.4% since 2017. European electrical equipment revenue is expected to reach €130.1 billion by 2026, a 0.4% annual average decrease from €133.5 billion in 2021. This is a 1.1% rise from 2017. Germany was the leader in 2021 with revenue of €52.8 billion, followed by France, Italy and Spain. Ireland went up 15.7% year-on-year, while Portugal fell by 11.5% since 2017.
