The European passenger ship fleet is set to reach 340,000 units by 2026, a 0.7% year-on-year growth. Since 2016, the number of ships has decreased by 0.9% annually. Croatia is the top European country with 112,500 units, followed by Spain, Italy, and Greece. Lithuania saw the biggest growth at 14.9% year-on-year, while Cyprus saw a 50.2% drop since 2016. Meanwhile, European sea transportation expenditure is expected to decrease by 0.9% year-on-year to reach €1.16 billion by 2026. Since 2016, demand has dropped by 2.1%. The UK has the highest expenditure at €834.84 million, followed by Finland, Estonia, and Belgium. Slovenia saw the biggest growth of 83.2%, while France decreased by 30.7% since 2016.
