Global commercial vehicle registrations are expected to reach nearly 29 million units by 2026, a 1.2% year-on-year rise since 2021. This marks an increase of 1.7% since 2010. Canada was the leader in commercial vehicle registrations in 2021, with nearly 15 million units. Mexico, Argentina and Australia followed, ranking second, third and fourth, respectively. Greece saw a 139.5% year-on-year increase, while Syria decreased by 54.3% since 2010. Global commercial vehicle production is expected to reach 19.2 million units by 2026, with no annual change since 2021. The US led the way in 2021, with 7.3 million units. China, Mexico and Canada were ranked second, third and fourth, respectively. Morocco rose 15.7% year-on-year, while Australia fell 100% since 2016. Global diesel truck sales are projected to reach $55 billion by 2026, a 0.6% year-on-year rise since 2021. This marks a decrease of 0.2% since 2016. The US led the way in 2021 with $33 billion in sales. France, Italy and Australia followed, ranking second, third and fourth, respectively. Slovenia saw a 6.2% year-on-year increase, while Germany decreased by 5.3% since 2016.
