The country came in at fifth place, with Taiwan in the lead at 278,190 metric tons. Thailand, Germany, and Taiwan were second, third, and fourth in the ranking respectively. Exporting, Spain saw a 100% decrease from 7,120 metric tons in 2017 to 0.45 metric tons in 2018. Since 1997, the country has reported an 88.4% decrease year-on-year. In 2018, it ranked 25th, with Thailand in the lead at 0.45 metric tons. Germany, Saudi Arabia, and the United Kingdom followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
