Global crude oil production is set to reach four million tonnes of oil equivalent by 2026. This marks an increase of 0.3% year-on-year, although supply has decreased by 0.5% year-on-year since 1976. Russia tops the global list of crude oil producers with 520,570 thousand tonnes of oil equivalent in 2021. Saudi Arabia, the United States and Iraq occupy spots two, three and four respectively. Ghana saw a 14.1% year-on-year increase, while Sudan experienced a 24.1% decrease since 1976.
