Since 2000, demand for the resource has decreased by 40%. Malta came ahead of Zambia in this ranking, with South Korea, Japan and Russia respectively at numbers 2, 3 and 4. Conversely, Zambia's Anthracite exports have increased significantly since 2000, with a 109.2% increase from 54,000 Kilograms in 2014 to 114,000 Kilograms in 2015. Malta once again came in first, with South Korea, Japan and Russia respectively at numbers 2, 3 and 4.
