Senegal's fertilizer imports are forecast to fall to 4,120 metric tons by 2026, at an average rate of 8.2% year-on-year. This is a 19.2% decrease since 2007. In 2021, Senegal was listed at number 112, with Saint Lucia at the top with 6,890 metric tons. Brazil, Spain and Thailand were ranked second, third and fourth respectively. In 2017, Senegal's fertilizer production reached a record 69,890 metric tons, an increase of 23.9% compared to the previous year. Since 2007, production has risen by 32.8%.
