Tongan fertilizer imports are set to drop 5.7% year on year to 125 metric tons by 2026, according to analysis. This marks a decrease of 5.3% since 2008, when Tongan demand was at its highest. In 2021, Tonga is ranked 146th in the world, surpassed by Fiji at 176 metric tons. Brazil, Spain and Thailand are ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
