Ukrainian gypsum exports are expected to drop by 12.5% by 2026, from 17.98 million kilograms in 2021. This figure is down 14.1% since 2001. Last year, Kazakhstan overtook Ukraine to become the 40th-largest gypsum exporter with 17.98 million kilograms. Thailand, Spain and Iran placed second, third and fourth, respectively. Meanwhile, Ukrainian gypsum imports dropped 32.7% between 2017 and 2018, from 319,080 to 214,820 kilograms. Since 2001, however, demand has risen 15.5% year-on-year.
