In 2021, Peru was ranked 103rd, behind Iceland's 226,000 kilos. Italy, Germany, and France were the second, third, and fourth largest in this ranking. Exports of Peruvian vinegar are expected to drop to 160,000 kilos in 2026, at a rate of 4.7% year on year. Since 2001, exports have decreased by 4% annually. In 2021, Algeria outstripped Peru's 212,000 kilos and ranked 54th. Italy, Germany, and Greece followed as the next three largest.
