Because of this dematerialization, consumer transactions can take place at home, across borders, or globally. Online market segments include online travel booking, online retail, online classifieds, financial services, and digital downloads. E-commerce strongly depends on enabling technologies, i.e. clouds, mobile applications, digital advertisements, and search engine optimization.
