Import of salted, dried or smoked swine meat to Spain: Diminution in 2017

According to updated figures presented by United Nations Statistical Office, pork import dropped by 20.07 percent compared with the same time an year ago. The indicator diminished from 2 009 143 kilogram in 2016 to 1 605 925 kilogram previous year, in comparison with the prior year when it rose by 30.88 percent. Spain saw a rise of 1 765.62% in pork import during the last 29 years. Furthermore, it has had the compound average annual growth rate of 0.02 percent during the five years with a negligible overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 1 098 769.41 kilogram from 1989 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 2 303 507 kilogram in 2008 and record low of 78 154 kilogram in 1991.
