Production of woven fabrics of cotton weighing less than 200 g/m² used for household linen or home furnishing textiles in Lithuania goes up in 2017

In comparison to the prior year woven cotton fabric production sharply went up by 740.63 percent, adjusted figures from European Commission demonstrate. Woven cotton fabric production grew strongly from 1 863 square meter in 2016 to 15 661 square meter previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it climbed by 8 368.18%. The overall changes for the previous 10 years reached a diminution of 32.07%. Moreover, it has had the compound annual growth rate of 0.14% over the five years with a modest overall decrease since the 2008. It averaged 11 908.2 square meter from 2008 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 44 262 square meter in 2012 and record low of 22 square meter in 2015.
