Import of yarn of artificial staple fibres not packaged for retail sale to Latvia: Rise in 2017

The variable sharply grew by 64.27 percent compared to the prior year, according to new figures announced by European Commission. Yarn import strongly went up by 53 050 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it rose by 2.69 percent. Latvia saw a decline of 15.59% in yarn import over the past 15 years. Likewise, it has had a drop at a 0.08% compound annual growth rate over the five years with a slight overall fall since the 2003. It averaged 169 128.67 Euro from 2003 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 414 070 Euro in 2011 and record low of 80 380 Euro in 2015.
