Import of cuttings and slips not rooted to Germany: Decline in 2017

Flower import went down sharply by 37.49 percent in 2017, refreshed data from United Nations Statistical Office demonstrate. The indicator greatly fell by 905 192 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it dropped by 12.09 percent. The overall changes for the prior 27 years reached a decline of 14.22%. Moreover, it has had the compound annual growth rate of 0.01% over the five years with a modest overall decrease since the 1991. It averaged 1 732 796.3 kilogram from 1991 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 3 110 830 kilogram in 1992 and record low of 1 128 038 kilogram in 2008.
