Import of medicaments containing insulin but not antibiotics for therapeutic or prophylactic uses, not put up in measured doses or for retail sale to Latvia: Rise in 2017

In comparison with the previous year the indicator rose strongly by 79.66%, according to updated figures published by European Commission. The variable greatly went up by 6 580 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it increased by 416.25%. The overall changes for the previous 17 years hit a diminution of 98.42%. Besides, it has shown a rise at a 0.8% compound average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a slight overall decrease since the start of time series. It averaged 56 846.47 Euro from 2001 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 937 170 Euro in 2001 and record low of 790 Euro in 2013.
