Import of suture materials, sterile surgical and dental goods to United States goes down in 2017

According to data presented by United Nations Statistical Office, wound dressing import strongly declined by 55.66% compared to the previous year. The variable fell sharply from 1 091 471 kilogram in 2016 to 483 922 kilogram previous year, compared with the prior year when it rose by 180.39 percent. The overall changes for the previous 22 years attained a rise of 195.16%. Furthermore, it has attained a 0.14% compound annual growth rate during the five years with a slight overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 421 285.45 kilogram from 1996 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 1 091 471 kilogram in 2016 and record low of 142 958 kilogram in 1998.
