Import of roses to Zimbabwe: Diminution in 2016

Compared to the previous year cut flower import decreased strongly by 93.29 percent, updated statistics from United Nations Statistical Office demonstrate. It pinpoints the all-time low since 2002 as the variable sharply fell by 19 254, contrarily to the prior year when it grew by 20.58 percent. Zimbabwe saw a decline of 99.8% in cut flower import during the last 15 years. Besides, it has had a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.53 percent over the last 5 years with a modest overall decrease since the start of observations. It averaged 88 369.67 from 2002 to 2016 and it attained its maximum of 676 746 in 2002.
