Export of turmeric (curcuma) from Jamaica rises in 2017

The variable rose sharply by 54.07 percent compared with the previous year, according to adjusted data issued by United Nations Statistical Office. Export of turmeric (curcuma) grew strongly by 359 219.69 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it increased by 125.67%. It's new all-time peak since 1991. Jamaica saw a growth of 4 930.47% in export of turmeric (curcuma) during the last 27 years. As well as it has shown a rise at a 0.44% compound average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a marginal overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 120 612.69 kilogram from 1991 to 2017 and it attained its minimum of 12 521 kilogram in 1993.
