Export of rhododendrons and azaleas from Russia: Decrease in 2017

Flower export decreased sharply by 85.97 percent in 2017, revised data from United Nations Statistical Office display. The variable diminished greatly by 1 348 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it declined by 56.25 percent. Russia saw a growth of 2 100% in flower export over the past 18 years. However, it has attained a decrease at a 0.56% average annual growth rate over the 5 years with a negligible overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 1 457.28 US Dollar from 2000 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 13 465 US Dollar in 2013 and record low of 10 US Dollar in 2000.
