Import of yarn of synthetic staple fibres not packaged for retail sale to European Union: Rise in 2016

European Commission published that in 2016 the indicator sharply increased by 99.99 percent. Yarn import rose greatly by 57 663 200 kilogram, compared to the prior year when it went down by 0.16%. The overall changes for the previous 14 years hit a decline of 38.06%. Likewise, it has shown a 0.01% compound average annual growth rate during the last five years with a marginal overall drop since the start of observations. It averaged 130 123 628.57 kilogram from 2003 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 186 191 296 kilogram in 2003 and record low of 57 668 600 kilogram in 2015.
