Export of newspapers, journals and periodicals with more than 3 issues per week from Turkey: Fall in 2017

Compared with the previous year the indicator dropped sharply by 38.1%, according to refreshed data presented by United Nations Statistical Office. Newspapers export fell greatly from 312 227 kilogram in 2016 to 193 273 kilogram prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went down by 44.03%. The overall changes for the prior 29 years hit a fall of 59.09%. As well as it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.28 percent during the last five years with a negligible overall raise since the 1989. It averaged 1 313 796.48 kilogram from 1989 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 3 652 836 kilogram in 2001 and record low of 51 594 kilogram in 1999.
