Export of yarn of synthetic staple fibres packaged for retail sale from Lithuania climbs in 2017

European Commission reported that compared with the prior year yarn export rose hardly by 3.35 percent. Yarn export slightly increased by 2 340 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went up by 736.17%. Lithuania saw an increase of 9.12% in yarn export during the last 10 years. However, it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.13 percent during the five years with a negligible overall diminution since the start of time series. It averaged 79 120 Euro from 2008 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 152 620 Euro in 2011 and record low of 8 350 Euro in 2015.
