Import of mixed alkylbenzenes to Iceland: Diminution in 2017

Specialty chemicals import declined sharply by 39.24% in comparison to the prior year, revised data from United Nations Statistical Office display. Specialty chemicals import strongly dropped from 17 768 kilogram in 2016 to 10 795 kilogram previous year, in contrast to the prior year when it went up by 7.52%. The overall changes for the previous 30 years hit a diminution of 42.32%. Moreover, it has attained a decline at a 0.12 percent compound average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a negligible overall growth since the 1988. It averaged 4 692.53 kilogram from 1988 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 20 471 kilogram in 2013 and record low of 2 kilogram in 1995.
