Retail trade inventories in United States goes down in May 2018

U.S. Census Bureau published that in May 2018 retail trade sales fell slightly by 0.69 percent. The indicator negligibly dropped by 4 379 million US Dollars, as it follows the tendency of the previous month when it diminished by 0.06%. When looking at the previous year, it can be announced that the variable was dropping by -0.62 percent and reached 613 968 million US Dollars in May. This demonstrates a 2.3% change between May 2017 and the same month the year after. The overall changes for the prior 26 years attained a growth of 166.69%. In comparison with its average, the retail trade sales is now bigger as the mean equals 435 553.57 million US Dollars with a marginal overall increase since the 1992. It hit its all-time high of 656 199 million US Dollars in November 2017 and record low of 235 509 million US Dollars in January 1992.
