Export of weighing machinery having a capacity of 30-5000 kg from Sri Lanka: Rise in 2017

Compared to the year before industrial equipment export grew greatly by 502.11 percent, according to adjusted data released by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator climbed strongly by 72 716.26 US Dollar, in contrast to the previous year when it went down by 59.39%. The overall changes for the prior 28 years reached an increase of 147 693.66%. Moreover, it has had a growth at a 1.05% compound average annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a negligible overall rise since the 1990. It averaged 16 348.69 US Dollar from 1990 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 106 515 US Dollar in 2011 and record low of 59 US Dollar in 1990.
