Fabrics apparel and accessories retail sales in Japan falls in 2017

According to data announced by Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, in comparison with the prior year the indicator barely declined by 3.3 percent. Fabrics apparel and accessories retail sales slightly dropped by 354 billion Japanese Yen, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went down by 3.27 percent. The overall changes for the prior 38 years attained a rise of 10.25%. Still it has attained a fall at a 0.02% average annual growth rate during the last five years with a marginal overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 11 749.11 billion Japanese Yen from 1980 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 15 281 billion Japanese Yen in 1991 and record low of 9 423 billion Japanese Yen in 1980.
