Flax yarn export declined by 14.6% in comparison with the prior year, according to data presented by European Commission. The variable decreased from 50 000 kilogram in 2016 to 42 700 kilogram previous year, compared with the prior year when it climbed by 27.55%. Hungary saw a rise of 194.48% in flax yarn export during the last 13 years. Though, it has shown a decrease at a 0.06 percent compound annual growth rate during the last five years with a slight overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 24 792.31 kilogram from 2005 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 57 100 kilogram in 2013 and record low of 7 700 kilogram in 2009.
