Import of yarn of synthetic staple fibres not packaged for retail sale to Malta climbs in 2016

European Commission reported that in 2016 yarn import sharply grew by 133.17%. The variable climbed strongly from 3 980 Euro in 2015 to 9 280 Euro previous year, in contrast to the prior year when it fell by 5.69 percent. Malta saw a fall of 87.16% in yarn import during the last 14 years. As well as it has shown the CAGR of 0.1 percent over the five years with a slight overall drop since the 2003. It averaged 24 916.43 Euro from 2003 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 72 280 Euro in 2003 and record low of 3 980 Euro in 2015.
