Import of slivers, yarns and chopped strands of filaments of glass fibres to Lithuania: Increase in 2017

Compared to the same time an year ago glass fiber import sharply grew by 33.66 percent, according to revised data presented by European Commission. Glass fiber import rose greatly from 50 500 kilogram in 2016 to 67 500 kilogram previous year, contrarily to the prior year when it diminished by 66.86 percent. Lithuania saw a raise of 2 712.5% in glass fiber import during the last 18 years. Besides, it has attained the average annual growth rate of 0.13 percent during the five years with a marginal overall diminution since the start of time series. It averaged 181 500 kilogram from 2000 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 2 323 700 kilogram in 2007 and record low of 600 kilogram in 2002.
