Import of medicaments of alkaloids or derivatives thereof not packaged for retail sale to Netherlands: Decline in 2017

In comparison with the previous year alkaloid import sharply fell by 47.24 percent, adjusted data from European Commission indicate. Alkaloid import went down strongly by 714 940 Euro, in contrast to the prior year when it increased by 686.82 percent. The overall changes for the previous 23 years attained an increase of 264.81%. Moreover, it has shown the compound average annual growth rate of 0.85% over the five years with a marginal overall raise since the 1995. It averaged 227 173.91 Euro from 1995 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 1 513 440 Euro in 2016 and record low of 160 Euro in 2014.
