Export of cereal foods obtained by swelling, roasting of cereal from Madagascar falls in 2016

Compared to the prior year the variable fell greatly by 45.09 percent, according to numbers published by United Nations Statistical Office. Cereals export went down sharply by 2 787 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it diminished by 21.13%. Madagascar saw a raise of 16 870% in cereals export during the last 22 years. Still it has attained a drop at a 0.03% compound annual growth rate over the 5 years with a slight overall rise since the 1995. It averaged 2 989.36 kilogram from 1995 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 17 008 kilogram in 2009 and record low of 17 kilogram in 2001.
