Industrial sand and gravel production in Mexico: Raise in 2015

In comparison with the year before the indicator hardly went up by 0.28 percent, refreshed numbers from U.S. Geological Survey display. It's new all-time high since 1998 as silica sand production slightly increased from 3 590 thousand tonnes to 3 600 thousand tonnes, when it held steady by 0 percent. The overall changes for the previous 18 years hit an increase of 107.68%. Besides, it has had a 0.07 percent compound average annual growth rate over the last five years with a slight overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 2 499.93 thousand tonnes from 1998 to 2015 and it attained its minimum of 1 689.05 thousand tonnes in 2003.
