Import of single cotton yarn of uncombed fibres containing less than 85% by weight of cotton, measuring per single yarn 714-232 decitex to Canada climbs in 2017

According to refreshed data released by United Nations Statistical Office, the variable sharply climbed by 33.25% in comparison to the previous year. Cotton import went up strongly from 53 951 kilogram to 71 889 kilogram, in contrast to the prior year when it declined by 74.51 percent. Canada saw a drop of 92.26% in cotton import over the past 29 years. Moreover, it has shown a decline at a 0.02% CAGR over the 5 years with a marginal overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 363 588.76 kilogram from 1989 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 928 307 kilogram in 1989 and record low of 53 951 kilogram in 2016.
