Export of numerically controlled machine tools to bend, fold, shear or press metal from Australia drops in 2016

Industrial equipment export went down strongly by 99.59 percent in comparison with the previous year, according to adjusted data announced by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator greatly fell by 15 382, contrarily to the previous year when it grew by 40 547.37%. Australia saw a rise of 106.45% in industrial equipment export during the last 17 years. Besides, it has had the average annual growth rate of 0.1% during the five years with a modest overall diminution since the 2000. It averaged 103 262.12 from 2000 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 1 113 726 in 2003 and record low of 14 in 2013.
