Re-import of cotton yarn containing less than 85% by weight of cotton to Canada: Increase in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office reported that cotton import greatly grew by 6 996.67 percent in 2017. The variable strongly increased from 30 kilogram to 2 129 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went up by 57.89%. It's new all-time high since 2000. Canada saw a growth of 42 480% in cotton import over the past 18 years. Moreover, it has shown the compound average annual growth rate of 3.63% over the last five years with a marginal overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 126.22 kilogram from 2000 to 2017 and it attained its minimum of 1 kilogram in 2013.
