Gasoline consumption in China grows in 2015

China National Statistical Office published that the indicator grew by 16.29 percent compared to the prior year. Gasoline consumption rose from 9 776.37 ten thousand metric ton to 11 368.46 ten thousand metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it increased by 4.38%. It highlights the all-time peak since 2000. The overall changes for the prior 16 years reached a rise of 224.39%. Moreover, it has attained a 0.09% compound average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a modest overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 6 280.51 ten thousand metric ton from 2000 to 2015 and it hit its minimum of 3 504.56 ten thousand metric ton in 2000.
