Export of fresh or chilled yellowfin tunas from New Zealand drops in 2017

According to revised figures published by United Nations Statistical Office, compared to 2016 tunas export strongly diminished by 91.95 percent. The indicator went down greatly by 49 224 kilogram, in comparison with the previous year when it went up by 289.42%. The overall changes for the prior 29 years attained a diminution of 8.51%. Furthermore, it has had a 0.49 percent compound annual growth rate during the last five years with a modest overall decline since the start of time series. It averaged 36 479.14 kilogram from 1989 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 130 004 kilogram in 1999 and record low of 591 kilogram in 2013.
