Crude oil consumption in electric power, gas and water production and supply in China drops in 2015

Compared with the prior year the variable decreased by 18.18 percent, revised data from China National Statistical Office indicate. It hit its 16-year minimum as the indicator diminished from 0.33 ten thousand metric ton to 0.27 ten thousand metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it dropped by 85.33 percent. The overall changes for the prior 16 years reached a decline of 99.65%. Moreover, it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.34% during the 5 years with a marginal overall diminution since the 2000. It averaged 21.95 ten thousand metric ton from 2000 to 2015 and it attained its maximum of 76.59 ten thousand metric ton in 2000.
