Crude oil consumption in electric power, gas and water production and supply in China goes down in 2015

Crude oil consumption declined by 18.18% in comparison with the prior year, refreshed figures from China National Statistical Office pinpoint. The variable diminished from 0.33 ten thousand metric ton to 0.27 ten thousand metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it decreased by 85.33 percent. It's the lowest ever reported since 2000. China saw a decrease of 99.65% in crude oil consumption over the past 16 years. Furthermore, it has attained a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.34% over the last five years with a modest overall diminution since the start of time series. It averaged 21.95 ten thousand metric ton from 2000 to 2015 and it hit its maximum of 76.59 ten thousand metric ton in 2000.
