Export of outer soles and heels of plastics from Netherlands falls in 2017

In comparison to the previous year the variable decreased by 5.77 percent, new figures from European Commission illustrate. Footwear export went down by 52 500 Euro, contrarily to the previous year when it went up by 6.76 percent. Netherlands saw a growth of 38.31% in footwear export during the last 10 years. However, it has shown a diminution at a 0.01% compound annual growth rate over the 5 years with a negligible overall raise since the 2008. It averaged 827 193 Euro from 2008 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 961 020 Euro in 2011 and record low of 618 630 Euro in 2009.
