Import of live horses except pure-bred breeding to Thailand: Drop in 2016

In comparison with the previous year the indicator declined sharply by 44.09%, adjusted numbers from United Nations Statistical Office demonstrate. Horses import went down greatly from 567 to 317, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it fell by 5.81 percent. Thailand saw a raise of 366.18% in horses import during the last 29 years. However, it has had a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.12 percent during the last 5 years with a slight overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 54 241.59 from 1988 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 1 560 655 in 2013 and record low of 1 in 2000.
