Import of handkerchiefs of textile materials other than cotton to Japan falls in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office reported that in 2017 apparel import diminished by 19.65 percent. Apparel import declined by 65 365 kilogram, versus the previous year when it increased by 16.29%. Japan saw a rise of 896.35% in apparel import over the past 30 years. Besides, it has had a 0.04% average annual growth rate over the five years with a negligible overall increase since the 1988. It averaged 78 929.5 kilogram from 1988 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 332 576 kilogram in 2016 and record low of 9 366 kilogram in 1991.
