Export of frozen meat of goats from Belgium goes up in 2017

In comparison to the previous year the variable strongly increased by 345.45%, according to updated data issued by European Commission. Goat meat export climbed sharply from 2 200 kilogram in 2016 to 9 800 kilogram prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it grew by 22.22 percent. The overall changes for the prior 10 years attained a growth of 553.33%. Though, it has attained a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.12% over the last five years with a marginal overall decline since the start of time series. It averaged 5 200 kilogram from 2008 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 18 600 kilogram in 2013 and record low of 1 500 kilogram in 2008.
