Broiler meat consumption in Mexico: Raise in 2017

U.S. Department of Agriculture announced that the variable slightly grew by 3.24% in 2017. Broiler meat consumption increased negligibly from 4 071 thousand tonnes to 4 203 thousand tonnes, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it rose by 2.8%. It indicates the all-time peak since 1973. Mexico saw a rise of 1 615.51% in broiler meat consumption during the last 45 years. Furthermore, it has attained a raise at a 0.03 percent compound average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a marginal overall growth since the 1973. It averaged 1 787.42 thousand tonnes from 1973 to 2017 and it hit its minimum of 244 thousand tonnes in 1975.
