Crude oil closing stocks in Chile: Fall in March 2018

The indicator declined by 16.44% compared to the previous month, revised numbers from JODI Data display. Crude oil closing stocks decreased by 587.16 thousand barrels, in contrast to the previous month when it rose by 20.24 percent. When looking at the year before, it can be diagnosed that the variable was climbing by 4.23% and reached 3 446.07 thousand barrels in March. This demonstrates a -13.39 percent variation between March 2017 and the same month one year later. Chile saw a rise of 1.43% in crude oil closing stocks during the last 16 years. In comparison with its average, the crude oil closing stocks is now smaller as the mean equals 3 316.84 thousand barrels with a negligible overall increase since the 2002. It hit its all-time high of 4 781.16 thousand barrels in November 2007 and record low of 1 880.31 thousand barrels in February 2007.
