Light commercial vehicles production in Australia decreases in 2017

According to data presented by OICA, compared to the previous year light commercial vehicle production dropped strongly by 37.4 percent. It shows the all-time low since 1997 as the variable sharply declined from 6 666 to 4 173, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went down by 13.04%. Australia saw a decline of 83.31% in light commercial vehicle production over the past 21 years. Besides, it has had a fall at a 0.36 percent average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a modest overall diminution since the 1997. It averaged 31 340.24 from 1997 to 2017 and it reached its maximum of 72 571 in 2005.
