Import of iron and non-alloy steel in ingots  to Russia: Raise in 2017

Compared with the same time an year ago the indicator rose sharply by 2 769.75%, according to revised numbers announced by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable strongly increased by 31 409 kilogram, in contrast to the prior year when it diminished by 99.15%. Russia saw a diminution of 83.89% in iron import over the past 22 years. Likewise, it has attained a fall at a 0.34 percent compound average annual growth rate over the five years with a marginal overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 469 201.14 kilogram from 1996 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 3 080 931 kilogram in 2006 and record low of 1 134 kilogram in 2016.
